Miracle Watching – ESP at Music Camp

When I was a sophomore in high school I attended a summer music camp. It was a fun time staying in college dormitories with my peers at Eastern KY State University. Some other musicians from my high school were there with me and we not only shared lots of wonderful symphonic and band music, but we also spent many hours in nightly discussions of interesting topics.

Among topics about boys and relationships we also examined the paranormal of psychic experiences, ET’s, and extra sensory perception. We had fun talking about these esoteric topics.

While I was at camp my family had gone to Florida for a vacation. This was back before cellphones and in a time when I was only allowed to make a long distance phone call in case of emergency. I wrote letters if I wanted to connect with my friends and family, and that was the rule.

One day in orchestra rehearsal I started getting a strange feeling. I felt like I really needed to call my family in Florida. I had no reason for this, but the feeling would not go away. It pestered me to such an extent that I decided that I would cross the line and place a long distance call to Florida to make sure that everything was OK.

When I called the motel to talk with my parents the operator informed me that they had checked out. This was strange because it was at least a week before they were to go home. It didn’t make sense to me.

At this point I knew that my inner feeling had picked up on something important going on, so I made a second long distance phone call to my maternal grandmother. She informed me that my family had left Florida to drive home because my father’s mother was in the hospital dying.

The rest of the story is that I had to temporarily leave music camp to attend my paternal grandmother’s funeral, and from that day on I began to rely more heavily on listening to that little inner voice. It had screamed at me to pay attention then, and now it only needs to whisper and I will hear it speaking.

At the time I thought it was a miracle. It also fell into that category of ESP that I had been discussing with my friends. Since then I have consciously developed my psychic and inner listening abilities so that I can use them in my energy therapy work.
