Protecting Your Subconscious Mind

Whenever you think a thought, encounter an idea, react to outside stimulation, your subconscious mind says “Yes!”, and jots that down to your experience. If you watch a scary movie, read a tear-jerker book, empathize with a loved one, your inner mind claims that as your own experience and places your reaction into your inner emotional archives. If you have ever experienced trauma, then your subconscious attempts to hide that away so that it ceases to hurt, and at the same time it creates a protection mechanism within your inner beliefs that will keep you from ever coming close to re-experiencing that pain again.

Let me explain this in another way. When you were born you created a body based on the DNA of your parents. Included in and around that body is an electro-magnetic field that resonates with the coding of the DNA you have inherited. You constantly add your own experiences to this electro-magnetic field, and as you do, your vibrational frequency shifts. Based on physics and the laws of resonance, when one thing vibrates at a certain frequency it automatically attracts other things vibrating at the same frequency.

We pick up frequencies from others. (Have you ever entered a room where someone is in a horrible mood? How did that affect your mood?)

And, we attract others who show up with the same frequencies as our own. (Do you ever feel that those closest to you are “mirrors” of you?)

We also attract cycles of events. (I have cleared clients who have had multiple car accidents, who keep attracting the same kind of abusive relationships, who have lost multiple jobs, etc.)

So, here are some basic tips to remember…

Job Search Woes can be easily cleared with EFT!

programs2

In 1985 I trained as a career consultant with Bernard Haldane, one of the top gurus in the world in this field. His work inspired his protege’, Richard Bolles, to write the all-time best-seller What Color is Your Parachute?

In the past when I did lots of career counseling, executive marketing consulting, and outplacement counseling, I did not know about meridian tapping tools such as EFT. Now I can share these energy therapy tools with others to help them clear their job search woes. These blocks, doubts, fears will continue to hold them back from getting the job of their desires – until the inner resistance is cleared.

Tonight I am giving all job searchers and career counselors a gift of a very affordable tele-seminar focused on teaching EFT and clearing issues such as:

As a continuation of an earlier Job School series that I offered through CoachWorld, I am offering this tele-seminar tonight – Wednesday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m. ET/ 4:30 PT, and I am only charging $25 for the class. Your benefits will include:

I believe that every career counselor should have this tool to break down your client’s inner resistance to using the “nuts & bolts” of job hunting that you will be sharing. Without de-charging the inner resistance and blockages even the best career campaign may easily fall apart.

To register or refer a client, just go to: http://is.gd/d8elR, and you can easily sign up. The tele-class bridgeline with passcode will be sent directly by e-mail to each participant. I look forward to having you join us tonight at 7:30 Eastern!

I love Energy Psychology Tools!

I love energy psychology and the powerful tools that support the work of

The energy psychology tools that I use, NET, AK, EFT, are so potent and, when following the body’s priority, the easy protocol of each clears the issues in a way so that success around any goal may be reached.

In going about clearing blocks and attaining goals using energy therapy modalities there is balance, it is easier than using sheer will and getting frustrated over and over when failures occur, and once resistance is cleared it is gone for good and similar future goals will be easy to attain. The beauty of using energy tools and meridian tapping techniques including EFT is that:

  1. They cause no harm and have no negative side effects,
  2. Every session is beneficial in some way,
  3. They are easy to learn and to use,
  4. They clear the emotional charge around painful issues without inflicting pain,
  5. They not only serve to clear blockages and emotional charge held in the subconscious, meridians, electromagnetic field, limbic brain, organs, cells, and elsewhere, but can also serve to input new and improved data and emotions into the mind computer to fill the vacuum created,
  6. And, they are simple, subtle, and profound.

Why wouldn’t anybody seek out such tools and use them?

Chronic Fatigue IS Curable!

Back in the early 1990′s I spent a year in bed with chronic fatigue syndrome and the constant pain of fibromyalgia. I was too tired to work, too foggy to think, too pained to participate normally in life, too feeble to do anything that I had previously done in my life. I was always so tired that I felt that I was going to die if I didn’t lie down, however once I did I couldn’t always sleep because of the horrible pain throughout my body.

I became a dependent for the first time in my adult life, and must have been difficult to live with because I was either passive and emotionless or irritable and angry all of the time. I felt like a victim and I could not share any energy with anybody else because I was in basic survival mode and felt like I was going to die. My body hurt so badly that even a light touch of a feather set off inner alarms and I went into protect-me mode. I am grateful that my dear husband stayed with me throughout this ordeal because it sure took a lot of patience and loyalty.

There were very few advantages of my health condition at that time, however there were some. For the first time in my life I allowed myself to take a nap when I needed it – without feeling guilty or lazy. I was unable to work so I had a lot of time to think and meditate on my life when my fuzzy brain allowed it. I was surrounded by my own victimhood and it became intolerable. I learned how to really slow down and BE. (I  had been a meditator for years, and this really slowed down my fast pace so that I was able to really just BE – even though it was such a painful existance.)

One day I woke up and realized that my long blonde hair was starting to fall out. This was the final straw, and on that day I declared that either I was going to get well or I was going to leave the planet. I was sick and tired of being a victim! (No pun intended!) And I was useless to myself, my husband, my friends and family, and my clients. My life was a waste and I was not going to bear it any longer. I hated victimhood and cleared that out of my system then – for good!

Within two days of my declaration I was synchronistically led to a healthfood shop in another town, and upon entering the front door I practically ran into a large rack of brochures which spoke directly of my symptoms, the cause of the conditions I suffered, and how to get well. After so much introspection, soul-searching, and time to clear inner muddiness of what I wanted in my life, these brochures gave me the final tips on how to clear out the condition and get well.

Two months later I was pain-free, my energy had returned, and I had lost twenty pounds. I felt so much better than I had felt in over a year. I was back! I had learned many lessons, and soon after I started working with others to help them re-claim their lives from chronic fatigue and other auto-immune conditions. I was not going to accept that life sentence of pain and fatigue, and there are many others who also are seeking a way out. I am honored to be able to help guide them back to health and well-being!

Taking Conscious Responsibility for Our Feelings

“If you feel it, then it is in you.”

I first heard this phrase in the late 1980′s during a short intro seminar presented by Dr. Michael Ryce in Charlotte, North Carolina. When I heard this comment and the conversation around it I was forever healed of all sense of victimhood that I might have carried with me from my previous life. His easy forgiveness process helped me to start peeling off the onion of old hurts as I realized that everyone involved had merely done the best they could do, and if I was still feeling hurt, then it was up to me to clear that emotion and then move on with my life.

Dr. Ryce’s processes are potent, easy, teachable, and can be found in his 1997 book Why is This Happening To Me… Again?! I’ve run into Michael several times over the years. He is quite a scholar and earth steward. He commits his work to “The restoration of Total Love to every mind and relationship on the planet,” or more simply put, all of his tools and his book “support the healing of ourselves, each other, and the planet”.

To learn more about Dr. Michael Ryce, his retreat center Heartland, and to receive your own free electronic download of Dr. Ryce’s text you may go to: http://www.whyagain.com (available in six languages).

I know that in the late 1980′s early 1990′s Michael’s work helped my marriage dramatically and also helped me to heal some issues with my parents. I was using the forgiveness process – now dubbed the “No Fault Empowerment Tools” (found on pages 182-3) before I learned of Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) or Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). So, while I was able to realize and clear some of the issues that I discovered through Michael’s work – just through the understanding of the underlying cause for my feelings, I later utilized NET and EFT to make sure that all emotional residue was gone – forever!

Blog versus Ezine and/or Blog?

This is the sixth year that I have published my ezine, Conscious Living. http://consciouslivingezine.com  Where it used to be my main vehicle through which I connected regularly with my network and shared ideas, now I have my blog, which you are reading now.

From 1995-2000 I published a weekly newspaper business column, so an ezine sent twice per month seemed like a natural descendent from my earlier Business Basics columns about Spirit in Business.  More recently blogging has hit it big, and of course, I had to jump in and join the flow.

I have loved my blog from the beginning, and still do. As you probably already know (who am I – preaching to the choir?), I totally enjoy sharing all kinds of thoughts in this venue. It is like a journal with you guys all looking into my brain and learning more about what makes me tick. It delighted me when I first discovered that some people had actually signed up to receive my musings on a regular basis. Wow. Somebody was really interested in what I was thinking about? I was flattered, and still so much enjoy that you are out there… somewhere… hopefully enjoying what I write.

Over the years my Conscious Living ezine has changed shapes. It was originally directed toward business colleagues and friends. My intent was to share Spirit in Business ideas in a very conservative, traditional environment of the southeast US. As my thoughts and ideas have grown more alternative I’ve attracted many new subscribers as some of the original ones have started to fall away. I still feel a bit muted in the ezine venue, although I am coming out with my authentic voice more and more.

It is time for me to get more focused and simplify my life. I plan to continue to share my musings here in my blog Alchemist Anne, and also to share Energy Therapy and EFT case studies on a weekly basis… as I have time.  And, in my Conscious Living ezine I will go more deeply into the cases, share some recording links and practical exercise tips, and also include some other articles about Spirit in Business and Conscious Living in general. In this way all of you who may be subscribed in both places will get new or expanded information in each venue.

Well, I so appreciate you all for listening to me think out loud… or at least reading along this far, if you have. It always helps to get your group energy in our MasterMind so that I can better clarify! I hope today and this weekend are FUN for you!!

Use EFT to Clear Emotional Molehills Before they Become Mountains

Often my coaching clients mention that they forget to use their Energy Therapy and EFT tools on their own to clear emotions when they come up, and then are frustrated later that they could have cleared an issue before it grew into a bigger obstacle.

Remember the old phrase “making a mountain out of a molehill”?

When you have a fear or doubt or pang of overwhelm or anger, there is no better time than right then in the present to tap away the feeling. If you pass over the feeling, expecting that it will go away on its own, then you are incorrect in your presumption.

Whenever you feel an emotion there is a chemical reaction that is set off in your body. The reaction creates energy that is stored in your organs and meridian system. This emotion will stay stored where it is until something allows it to be cleared. And, it can be added onto by similar emotional experiences that add more to the charge that is already located in your body’s electromagnetic field. (Creating the mountain out of what started out as a small molehill.)

If there is already a charge of a certain kind, then it will attract similar charge. In my studies of kinesiology and NET I learned that specific organs hold specific emotions, and that the way to most completely clear these emotions and their charge is to stimulate the meridian attached to that organ and intentionally clear it from that meridian and organ.

So, if you are driving down the road and approach a scary intersection like I did today on the way to my office, the best thing to do is to tap away all fear that is in you about that intersection – right then. This morning I did this. As I did it I realized that I had accepted some fears and suggested behaviors from my mate about his reaction to the intersection. This morning it occurred to me that most of the fear I had taken on was his rather than my own. I am always careful on blind hills when I pull out onto a country mountain road, and I don’t know the history of the many accidents that may or may not have happened there. So, my question to myself this morning was: “Do I really want to carry this fear with me anymore?” I answered “No!”, so I did one quick round of tapping and let it go.

I created an EFT set-up statement of:  Even though I feel fear when I pull out onto this road with it’s blind hill, I deeply & completely accept myself and trust my driving and choose to clear this fear.

Then I followed by tapping all of the points using some the following statements as I felt the fear:

I felt totally at peace and cleared of the old fear a few minutes later. I will be interested in going through that intersection again in a few days to ensure that all of the charge is gone.

So, before any of your emotional molehills become mountains, I highly advise that you use your wonderful tapping tools to clear the emotional issues. And, if you don’t know how, you can learn by downloading a free Introduction to EFT from my website at: http://www.arielagroup.com/products/free_products.html.

Creating from Within

Energy management is so important to each of us as we go about creating the life of our desires and flowing with the Law of Attraction. I was recently reminded again of the old tale that follows. The message says it all!

One evening an old Cherokee Indian told his grandson about a battle that was going on inside himself.

He said, “My boy, the fight is between two wolves.”

That got the boy’s attention.

“One is evil,” the old man continued. “Full of anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, and ego.”

“What of the other wolf, grandfather?” the boy asked.

“The other is good,” he said. “Full of joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth and compassion.”

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, “Do we all have such wolves fighting inside us, grandfather?”

“Yes,” the wise old man said.

“Does one of the wolves win the fight?”

“Yes,” replied his grandfather.

“Which one?”

The old Cherokee replied simply, “The one you feed.”

Touch for Health

Surprise! Yes, I changed my blog format a bit so that you can see the beautiful view from my cabin/office that is so inspiring to me as I write. The sunset in the banner photo was taken at the summer solstice – at the height of light in the northern hemisphere! I hope you enjoy it!

Touch for Health is a wonderful approach to healing that is taught to lay people / non-physicians, so that they will be able to take more responsibility in their own health. If you have ever been to a chiropractor or kinesthesiologist you might have had the same muscle groups and meridians tested for strength or weakness as you can learn through studying Touch for Health.

I was first introduced to TFH in 1985 or 1986 when my ex-husband and I took a course from one of the earlier TFH “gurus” Dr. Sheldon Deal. Sheldon has become a friend through the years and, besides being an award-winning body builder in his youth, is a world-known doctor of chiropractic and a naturopathic doctor. He is still active in the international TFH organization and the International College of Applied Kinesiology.

As soon as I was introduced to the teachings of TFH I was hooked, and I’ve been studying energy healing and therapy techniques ever since. But, I went about my studies in other ways. I learned about applied kinesiology through my ex-husband, a chiropractor. I learned about meridians and specific emotional clearing techniques by studying Neuro Emotional Technique, NET, for seven years with Drs. Scott and Deb Walker, and by becoming a practitioner. Then I learned more by studying EFT through Gary Craig. Now I have come full circle and am taking the Touch for Health four-part certification training with Earl Cook, creator of e-touch for Health, and practitioner since 1976 (http://www.etouchforhealth.com/ .) I will complete the certification in March, 2010.

As though I didn’t have enough to do these days, I have dedicated entire weekends in November, December, February, and March to learn more about how to use the muscles in the body to test for strengths or weaknesses that can cause pain and eventually disease. I’m learning more about the meridians and the muscles and organs with which they correspond, in addition to learning more about the basics of the five-element acupuncture model and meridian cycles so that I can better incorporate this information as background into my NET and EFT practices with clients. I am excited about TFH’s ability to clear physical pain and energetically support goal-setting, and I plan to apply it with clients as soon as I finish the full certification training program in March, 2010.

So, stay tuned. I will share more as I learn it! :) And, if you would like to know more about Touch for Health, please go to: http://www.touch4health.com .

Reiki for Emotional Healing During the Holidays

You usually see me talking about using EFT or other Meridian Tapping Techniques for emotional healing. Since I am a Reiki Master in addition to the other things that I do, I want to include a few excerpts here from a good article by Laurelle Shanti Gaia (see her Reiki newsletter and the entire article at: http://www.reikinewsletter.com/.)

“It doesn’t matter which holidays you observe, or even if you don’t observe the holidays at all. This season can stir your deepest emotions. Thoughts, feelings and beliefs that you have long since buried often rise to the surface of your consciousness during holiday times. The good news is opportunities for profound and meaningful healing arise as well.

Do you find this time to be jolly, OR is it a time that you feel fear, loneliness, sadness, anger, abandonment, or whatever emotion is most important for you to become aware of at this time of year? Be true to your feelings, as this is a time that brings forth great potential for transformation and rebirth.

There is an ancient Shinto saying about the winter time ‘Both Heaven and Earth come from one’s own heart’. It is a time for darkness to open to the light, a time to really FEEL that which you have held in the shadows, tried to avoid, or been afraid to confront. It is a time to bring these feelings forth, acknowledge them, accept them, honor them, learn from them and move forward into the light of your true self. It is only possible to BE one’s true self by BEing true to yourself. Once you have done this, you can fully experience the joy, peace, love, compassion, good will and comfort that the holiday season is meant to bring you.

If your holidays include gathering with friends and family you may find yourself more sensitive than normal as cellular emotional memories begin to stir. I believe that the holiday time arouses whatever you most need to heal within the deepest level of your being. This is a perfect time to work with Reiki to awaken repressed emotions, honor them and transform them into positive energy.

Many of us were trained to hold our feelings in. ‘Nice girls don’t get angry,’… ‘big boys don’t cry,’… there were so many ways we learned to block our emotions. If you weren’t taught by your parents to do this, perhaps a teacher, or a friend influenced your tendency to repress your feelings.

Over the years of being disloyal to emotions, we each develop congestion in our emotional body that limits the flow of life force into our physical body. Consequently we can develop physical, mental or emotional illness.”

So, if you use Reiki on yourself, or if you regularly visit a practitioner, use the thoughts here as a good focus point as you approach a Reiki energy session, and set the intention to neutralize the negative charge around old holiday emotions and memories, and to allow peace to enter and fill up your energy field.

If you have specific questions about how to best do this, please feel free to ask me or leave a comment here. Also, of course, the thoughts expressed here so well by Laurelle can bring up specifics that you may clear using other energy tools such as EFT and NET, among other MTT tools.

I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful! Mine was so fantastic that we had three different Thanksgiving dinners during the long weekend… with different family members each time as we traveled! And, our visits were fun and travel was safe! Wow – I am grateful that my energy work has sure paid off well!!
